We are going to conduct a series of intercultural and interreligious workshops, classes, conferences, talks and discussions. 48 young people from 4 countries (Poland, UK, Finland and Italy) will participate in this project. The project runs from 05.05.2013-27.09.2013. The objective of this project are; To increase the understanding of cultural diversity and the immigrants’ influence on the shape of EU To increase understanding of cultural diversity and how it influence immigrants and local society To develop sense of ability, possibility of better jobs for youth migrants To deepen integration and prevention of exclusion of youth-migrants
We are cooperating with the University of Warsaw in organizing a debate on 4th march 2013. The theme of the debate is “Africa from Polish perspective: perspectives vs reality” we’ll take a look at the following thematic sessions; Economic process, sociological aspects, media, conflict, democracy/politics and education.
On Tuesday, January 22, 2013, our representative in Kenya (Ola Tor) led a presentation about Poland in socio-economic areas. Ola Tor is no stranger to RCNC and the Rotaract fraternity. Now working at the Polish Embassy in Kenya, she joins us representing “Projects by Afryka Connect” to give insight about Polish economy; enlighten on the possibility of investment in Poland as well as co-operation between Kenyan and Polish companies.
